Messiah in the Passover Special Presentation

7:00 p.m.

LocationGrace Church

DescriptionJoin us Wednesday, April 2, at 7:00 P.M., in place of our regular Vertical Service, for a Messiah in the Passover (Seder) presentation. Everyone will be seated at a table, and each place setting will contain the ritual symbolic Passover food items that were used in the “Last Supper” by Jesus and His disciples. From a head table, Mottel Balseton will lead us through the Passover Seder, pausing to point out those rituals which have direct fulfillment in Messiah Jesus. Mottel will help us understand how we can apply this to our Christian life. Mottel is a Messianic Jewish Teacher ministering to the Jewish population in NJ with Missions Door. The Seder presentation will be approximately 90 minutes in length. Cost is $5.00 per person. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Tables will seat 6. Tickets will go on sale in the lobby March 16. (Seating is limited and tickets are available for purchase only, no reservations will be taken without payment.) Because of the length of the program, childcare will be available for nursery to early elementary (Parents: use your discretion in determining if your child can sit through the presentation).

Child Dedication Informational Meeting

9:45 a.m.

LocationGrace

DescriptionWe are all about families here at Grace, and one of the most important steps in the life of a child is for their parents to participate in a service of dedication. This is a public statement where the child’s parents make a public declaration of their intent to raise the child in a biblical manner. Parents seek the help of the church in undertaking this difficult, although critical step of faith. If you are interested in having your infant or child dedicated here at Grace, you are invited to call or email Mary Ann in the church office at 973-347-0667 or maryann@grace4families.com. The date of the next Dedication Sunday is May 4 and there is an important informational meeting on Sunday, April 13, at 9:45 A.M.

Women's Bible Study - The Storm Inside

6:30 p.m.

LocationGrace - Room 204 (Cafe)

DescriptionThe chaos of life can be overwhelming, and women get a heavier dose than most. Each day comes with its own pressures, heartaches and disappointments that slowly erode the joy, peace, and closeness to God every woman needs. Chaos always feels like the enemy as it rages around us and inside us. But there is hope! In The Storm Inside, you will find strength in the most profound truths-that you are always a child of God no matter how you feel. This simple teaching will be the difference between a life of joy and one of despair. Shelia Walsh powerfully reminds us that God offers no guarantee of a life without storms, but he does provide the strength and grace to make it through them. Sign up in the lobby or contact Nancy Ramella at nancella347@yahoo.com. Childcare not provided. Cost: To be determined.

Women's Bible Study - Stepping Up - A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent

6:30 p.m.

LocationGrace - Room 100

DescriptionThis exciting Beth Moore study explores Psalms 120-134. Just as a song or poem can express feelings of fear, doubt, hope, and joy, these 15 psalms model how we can voice our own petitions and praises to our God, who is always available and ready to hear us. Explore the major feasts of Israel and journey with Beth through this 7-session study. Themes of unity, joy, gratitude, redemption, repentance, the power of blessings, facing ridicule, and more are explored in detail. This study will be offered on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:30 PM beginning April 22. Sign up in the lobby or contact Carrie Kraus at ckraus01@optonline.net. Cost: $10
