David Huron      coordinator of production technologies

Hello, I am David Huron, the Director of Production Technologies for both the Netcong and Bethlehem campuses, and have enjoyed being a part of the Grace staff since October 2014.  It has been my privilege to lead a great group of tech volunteers who help make our services possible.

I am always looking for those seeking to give back to God a portion of their time and talent.  If you think that serving in the technology ministry is something God has placed on you heart, then please reach out to me. You will receive all the training you will need. And we try to keep our volunteers on a roughly once a month rotation.

What do you like about working at Grace Church?

I really enjoy being a part of a great community as well as partnering with Kenny Stearns in creating an atmosphere where God is lifted high, thanked and praised for His great love for us. Another joy for me is helping equip others in their service, and in my position I get to do that a lot.

Who are the special people/person in your life?

My wife, Shelli, is extremely dear to me. God has given me such a partner in life and ministry.  I am also grateful to be around my family again after living in California for 25 years. I am so thankful for my men’s group as well.

What are the top 3 songs on your iPod/Music player?

While I am usually pretty repetitive in my music listening, I am currently in a stage where I am more divergent in what I listen to. Although, I have been enjoying the album Evergreen by Audrey Assad as well as healthy doses of NEEDTOBREATHE and Colony House.  My wife and I recently were blessed to see Toby Mac live recently, which was an amazing concert.

What is something most people don't know about you?

I don’t give my secrets to those I don’t know. You’ll have to get to know me to have a chance to find out.

What are you reading right now?

The Disciple Maker’s Handbook by Harrington and Patrick

What place would you like to visit before THE END...and why?

I would love to visit the Holy Land and see the setting of so much history.  Being a big WWII buff, I would also love to do a WWII based tour of Western and Eastern Europe.

Best Meal/Drink Ever?

I can eat Asian style food as well as Mediterranean just about any day of the week.

What's something God's teaching you lately?

God is teaching me about the Holy Spirit and how to partner with Him, as well as greater depths of grace than I have known.

What excites and gets you dancing?

My wife and seeing God bring healing into people’s lives.

Favorite movies, and why?

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and the Star Wars movies. Why, because I am a big geek.

What's your idea of an awesome retreat?

I love places of nature with people I hold dear.
