Christian Service Brigade

Friday, September 20, 7:00 P.M. - 8:45 P.M., Bethlehem/Randolph Campus - Christian Service Brigade (CSB) is a Friday Night Club which meets from mid-September through mid-May.

This ministry equips boys, young men and men to grow closer to the Lord. “Boys think, learn, mature, and play differently than girls. Experts tell us boys require more space and have a shorter attention span than most girls. The traditional classroom  model has proven ineffective in impacting boys and young men and mentoring them toward genuine spiritual formation.”

CSB is a structured program and the meeting has multiple components. (Group opening including prayer and flag salute, games, crafts, squad or post meetings which include going over achievements, Bible study and reflection, closing.) Special events where we partner with other churches in the area like West Point Cadet/hockey night, Pinewood derby, Leadership seminars, etc.. Other activities include campouts, canoeing, hikes, game nights, lock-ins (sleepovers), bon fires, bring a friend night, etc.  CSB provides a great opportunity to have an outreach in a fun, simple manner.  We averaged 30-40 kids during the 2018 year.

Stockade (Fellowship Hall) – Ages include boys from 3rd through 6th grade.

Battalion (Gym) – Ages include young men from 7th through 12th grade.

Tree Climbers – This is a Father-Son program for boys in 1st and 2nd grade.

Fathers attend the meeting. This allows for developing and strengthening of the father-son bond in a Christian environment.   As James Dobson states  “Many parents are reluctant or ill equipped to teach their boys what masculinity really means… Chief among our concerns is the mentoring that dads should be providing.” Bringing Up Boys

The Tree Climber programs helps equip the fathers.  This program is in need of a leader. The Leaders and Assistant Leaders are subject to background checks executed by the church office in accordance with the Child protection requirements. Any questions or to register, contact Scott Greenfield at
